TorchLight seeks an experienced VP, CRM and Marketing Strategy with a track record in leadership, CRM implementation, and marketing strategy development to join a dynamic trade association located in Arlington, VA.

This key role demands a strategic professional who can ensure measurable results, particularly in enhancing and retaining the membership base. Your consultative background and proven ability to seamlessly collaborate with different teams within the organization will be crucial to your success in this role.

Proven past experience managing the full implementation of a CRM platform is mandatory to be considered for this position.

Location:
Candidates ideally reside within the DMV or DC metropolitan area for easy access to our client’s office in Arlington, VA.

U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.

Employment:
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity—40-hours per week with a flexible work schedule and work-from-home options available on non-onsite days.

Role responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include managing a team, driving the implementation of a new CRM system, and devising a comprehensive marketing strategy.

• Create and lead the execution of organization’s integrated marketing strategy

• Lead and manage a marketing team of 8+

• Implement a new CRM system – system tbd

• Collaborate with the communications team and other internal stakeholders such as government relations, technology, and education to ensure marketing needs are consistently met across the organization

• Establish measurable results, particularly as it relates to engaging and retaining the membership base

Skills and experience:

• 10 -15 years+ of professional experience in integrated marketing strategy and execution; non-profit association experience preferred

• CRM implementation expertise

• Leadership and management skills with a strong track record mentoring a team

• Exceptional storytelling and communication abilities

• Strong knowledge of marketing technology and operations

• Consultative background with ability to work with leaders across a variety of cross-functional areas
