An award-winning, direct marketing consulting firm in Richmond, VA seeks an executive level individual to plan and oversee direct response, multi-channel, fundraising strategies for a wide variety of nonprofit clients. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: management of creative and production teams, development of program goals and objectives, ongoing strategic campaign planning and direction, budgets and income projections, identify challenges and opportunities, and implement changes as needed. Candidates must be able to provide advice and counsel on audience segmentation, creative strategy, testing opportunities and media direction (direct mail, digital, telemarketing, print, tv/radio, etc.); write and present strategy, program summaries/results and progress to goals. New business proposal writing and presentation skills necessary. Some specialty consulting, and program audits may also be required. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in direct response fundraising – executive level agency experience is preferred. Must be willing to travel.
