The Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston (BGCB) seeks a highly motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter to implement a corporate engagement program designed to retain current partners and build a robust pipeline for future corporate support. The primary focus of this external, frontline fundraiser is to achieve/exceed the defined corporate fundraising goal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed BGCB’s corporate annual fundraising goal of more than $3.5M by securing financial and in-kind support from companies in the greater Boston area.
Work closely with Senior Director, Executive Vice President, CEO and leadership team to create a strategic plan to increase revenue from existing partnerships and new revenue sources, creating a strong pipeline of current and future corporate donors.
In partnership with Senior Director, develop an annual business plan and identify key priorities.
Develop and consistently report upon a set of metrics to track progress and inform success.
Develop annual revenue and expense projections with a strong focus return on investment and organizational impact.
Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of corporate partners to develop meaningful relationships that strengthen BGCB programs and offer effective engagement opportunities to BGCB donors.
Work collaboratively with BGCB development and marketing teams, operations staff, and BGCB’s 11 clubs in Boston and Chelsea to construct customized, donor-centric partnerships that align with both BGCB and the companies’ philanthropic and Corporate Social Responsibility goals and objectives.
In partnership with the Senior Director, manage the Corporate Giving Committee, comprised of high-level, dynamic and engaged volunteers and donors within Boston’s Corporations. Effectively communicate with Committee Members and plan and strategize both individual and committee meetings to help drive revenue and meet Committee fundraising goals.
Introduce innovative sponsorship and marketing strategies across organization
Develop a plan to enhance and engage BGCB’s Corporate Leadership Council (CLC), including managing and coordinating CLC activities. Work closely with Special Events team on annual CLC events and on identifying new cultivation opportunities.
Oversee and ensure delivery of all promised benefits for corporate sponsors, agreement specifications, with strict adherence to deadlines.
Together with Development leadership, prepare presentations and materials that highlight the benefits of supporting BGCB.

Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree or corporate business training preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of senior corporate sales experience dealing with national (and / or international) clients in the private sector or non-profit sector, plus significant corporate fundraising and/or marketing or PR experience at a senior level.
Collaborative, experienced staff manager; ability to delegate effectively, communicate openly.
Exceptional attention to details.
Ability to project and track revenue, adjusting business plans as needed to achieve goals.
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to make presentations to senior level groups as well as to build one-on-one relationships with members of diverse constituencies at all levels of authority; exemplary organizational and writing skills.
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills and knowledge of database applications (ex. Raiser’s Edge).
Team player with willingness to adapt to new and evolving organizational and funding priorities and to work occasional evenings and early mornings as events and project deadlines dictate.
Willingness to travel between Main Office and local Clubs.
Self-starter with ability to make decisions independently, while collaborating with colleagues.
Articulate, poised, and calm under pressure.
