Information Technology Business Partner As an integral member of the senior leadership team at The American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), you will think holistically about how to best partner technology solutions with business needs, making strategic decisions about budgets, equipment, and workflows to integrate systems, staff, and vendors. You will identify and prioritize needs, define and measure metrics, and establish and manage projects and vendors.
Spanning across our technology (including our computer operating systems and software, membership database, customer relationship database, content management system, education learning system, financial systems, and phone system), you will connect resources across the organization to optimize the member experience while taking advantage of business technology solutions.
You will work closely with AHLA business owners to identify new system requirements, evaluate capabilities, oversee implementation, and correspond continuously with vendors to ensure accountability for smooth operating systems. Working with our managed service provider, including an experienced part-time CIO, you will develop short- and long-term solutions for a multitude of business challenges and provide training for staff.
Organization Overview AHLA addresses the issues facing members by providing resources to those who practice in law firms, government, in-house settings, and academia, and educates the entire spectrum of the health industry – physicians, hospitals and health systems, health maintenance organizations, health insurers, life sciences professionals, managed care companies, nursing facilities, home care providers, and consumers.
With such a wide range of complex and often confusing information regarding health law, everyone needs trustworthy information. AHLA serves as a public resource on health law issues, electing not to advocate for or against any particular policy proposals, producing the highest quality nonpartisan educational programs, products, and services concerning health law issues.
