DEPARTMENT SUMMARY The Americans for the Arts Action Fund (Arts Action Fund) is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit affiliate of Americans for the Arts. The Arts Action Fund is arts advocacy organization of 400,000 individual members, with a goal of recruiting and mobilizing at least one million citizen activists to become members and advocate for the adoption of arts-friendly public policies to be adopted at the federal, state, and local levels.
POSITION SUMMARY The Arts Action Fund Program Manager executes all aspects of Arts Action Fund programming including membership acquisition and retention high- and low-dollar fundraising, its political action committee (PAC) management, political and educational initiatives, fundraising special events and PAC fundraising campaigns, and content writing for its publications and website. The Manager will also assist the Executive Director of the Arts Action Fund (E.D.) in preparing for meetings with the Arts Action Fund’s board of directors. The Arts Action Fund Program Manager will actively participate in internal working groups to execute the member recruitment fundraising, communications, marketing, and advocacy objectives of the Americans for the Arts Action Fund. The Arts Action Fund Program Manager reports to the E.D.
