Effectively drive the planning and execution of digital marketing projects, including Purdue Day of Giving, from concept to completion; design, implement, and maintain project scope, requirements, schedule, and budget.
Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with all parties involved including the communications team, content marketing manager, graphic designers, data analysts, donor services staff, vendors, and other members of the Annual Giving and Stewardship team.
Coordinate specific projects within a comprehensive Purdue annual giving plan.
Design, implement, facilitate and report on projects within the comprehensive annual giving plan, including crowdfunding campaigns and Purdue Day of Giving, with the purpose of soliciting constituents to increase annual giving to Purdue (funds raised and number of donors) through acquisition, renewal, reactivation, and upgrades.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, audience segmentation, budget, vendor recommendations, and campaign plan.
Coordinate, collaborate, and manage the communication and workflow with: content marketing manager on the messaging for all materials; graphic designer on design creation; data team on data selection and output files; and the vendor to ensure timely implementation and completion of creative campaigns that contain visual appeal, compelling philanthropic messages, as well as variable data and content.
Maintain a comprehensive schedule and coordinate production of communications projects on time, within scope and within budget.
Use appropriate techniques to manage and document changes in the project scope, schedule, and budget.
Serve as the primary contact with vendors and maintain vendor relations.
Analyze the effectiveness of Annual Giving digital campaigns, make critical adjustments, and recommendations for continued success when necessary; track progress and document outcomes.
Collaborate, develop, and maintain relationships with colleagues in the central annual giving and stewardship office. Develop effective partnerships throughout the department to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of efforts.
Perform duties described above for external consulting clients.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, demonstrated capacity for teamwork, creativity, and initiative necessary.
Knowledge of digital fundraising methods, social media, and web analytics tools.
Ability to use tact, sound judgment, diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion.

Occasional travel required in this position to support external clients.
Bachelor’s degree required.
1-3 years of experience required.
Fundraising and direct mail experience preferred.
