The Far West Agribusiness Association Executive Director carries out the priorities, policies and programs of the association as directed by the board of directors. Works closely with board of directors and supportive of their political, personal and management philosophies. The Executive Director will be the primary spokesperson and voice of the organization while directing the day to day business administration of staff and programs.

What you will be doing:
Professionally represent the interests and image of the
Implement operating and management
Administer programs of the
Network and forge partnerships that prove beneficial to the
Represent and advocate for the business interest of the
Serve as a member of various committees and provide guidance to ensure adherence to the by-laws of the
Manage budget, financial reporting, payroll, property and business interests of the association.
A successful candidate for this Executive Director Role will possess the following:
Four-year Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 10 years’ experience in agricultural supply chain, and politics or advocacy work. Knowledge of state and federal political processes.
Agricultural Background –knowledge of fertilizer and crop input
Knowledge of Federal, State and local agencies and organizations within the states that regulate agricultural and environmental
Knowledge and understanding of various systems to advocate for the association.
Strong communication skills, ethical and performs with integrity.
Ability to accurately represent the policies and priorities of the
Competence as a group leader and conduct efficient
Knowledge of the economic, financial, agricultural and cultural factors affecting the agribusiness industry in WA, OR, ID, UT and
Ability to travel.
