We are a small professional society focused on a fast-growing cardiology imaging field with a global membership, and we are seeking a motivated, ambitious and well organized team player to join our team. The Manager, Industry Relations and Development plays a key role in our mission, and we rely on you to help strengthen our relationships with industry — all with the aim of growing our field and improving patient outcomes.
There is room to grow in this position, which is ideal for an early- to mid-career professional who is looking for an opportunity to step up and make a meaningful contribution. You will help us build on an existing strong foundation of industry support and grow our excellent partner relationships.
The Manager, Industry Relations and Development supports SCCT’s strategic and programmatic activities by developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners and exhibitors and securing appropriate in-kind and financial commitments for our annual meeting, 1-2 small conferences, 8-10 workshops and courses as well as non-event sponsorships.
You will report to the Executive Director, and your responsibilities include:
Working with the executive director to develop an annual sponsorship strategy and sales targets both for top tier partner accounts and the organization as a whole.
Maintaining regular contact and building relationships of trust with key industry partner personnel, developing an understanding of their businesses and goals -- and how paid opportunities with SCCT can best meet them
Using a variety of resources, including other meetings, to identify and recruit appropriate new exhibitors, and building and maintaining an accurate CRM database
Coordinating documentation, invoicing and payments for sales, sponsorship and exhibits, including collaborating with education staff to develop and submit educational grant requests
Collaborating with colleagues on all aspects of sales, sponsorship and exhibit fulfillment
Developing post-event and annual value reports for industry partners
Producing regular progress and activity updates on sales, payments and year-on-year comparisons

Education, skills and experience
Minimum three years sales/business development/industry support/exhibit sales experience in the context of a medical or healthcare membership association
Familiarity with contract analysis and negotiation
Comprehensive capability with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, association management platforms, etc.
Telecommuting is allowed.
